To book your first appointment, just tell us a little bit about your schedule needs and goals.

After you submit your form, someone on our Kinesia Team will reach out to you in the method that you request. At that time they will answer your questions and help you get started.

Join Classical Pilates Classes

With our 4 Classes + 90-min Basic Training Clinic :

We specialize in Classical Pilates. The classes at Kinesia Pilates have a distinctive dynamic and flow that is different from many Pilates fitness workouts.

We offer a monthly 90-minute skills clinic in Classical Pilates technique.

In our Classical Pilates Clinic we will help you level-up your technique and give you tips on how to use the Reformer and springs to amplify your efforts.

 FAQs

  • We teach Classical Pilates using Gratz Reformers. If you have previous Reformer fitness experience you may find the workout and the reformers to be different. We recommend starting in Private lessons and joining our Classical Reformer Basic Training clinic.

  • Fitted shirts and leggings or shorts are ideal. For safety on the apparatus avoid hanging ties and loose garments. We ask everyone to wear clean socks. Grip Socks are best for traction on the apparatus. We have loaners and we sell them in our retail shop if you need a pair. A light jacket or wrap can be nice to warm up.

  • If you are in acute pain or recently injured please consult with your healthcare provider.

    Our teachers are experienced and will adapt the exercises to your needs so you can exercise safely. Doctors and physical therapists often refer their clients to Kinesia Pilates to continue the work that was started in therapy.

    Pilates exercises are designed to improve posture, circulation and coordination, which can help alleviate physical pain and distress.

    There are hundreds of exercises to choose from, as well as countless modifications, so we can develop a personalized full-body workout that helps your body to heal.

  • There is metered street parking all around the neighborhood. We recommend $3 hour parking at Stadium Place Parking just a few blocks away (on the corner S. King/Occidental, right by Quality Athletics sport bar). If you want to ditch the car, the Seattle Street Car’s First Hill Line stops just a block away, and King Street Station and the Pioneer Square Tunnel are also an easy walk from our door.   • You can purchase lessons and classes online or in person using cash or a credit card. We also have package rates and monthly subscriptions. Many people find it convenient to have a subscription, which supports the studio, is cost effective, and helps motivate regular practice.
