Pilates is progressive skill building. In this lesson you will be introduced to a few basic principles of Pilates technique; breath, your frame, symmetry, and centering. You will get on the Reformer and learn the introductory movements of the Mat. The Mat and The Reformer together form the foundation of the classic Pilates System. Classes or Private Lessons?
Private lessons are personal training in Pilates technique. In Private lessons we work with your unique learning style to help you create the mind/body connections for an effective workout. In your Private lessons your teacher will help you take the small steps that lead you to your goals, and challenge your coordination, memory function and strength for an fun workout.
If you are interested in joining group classes your teacher will be able to give you an informed recommendation if classes will be the best fit. We offer beginner friendly "Apparatus Fundamentals" and "Mat Classes". We may recommend further Private lessons before joining group classes.
